On Wednesday, 2020 Democratic presidential hopeful Andrew Yang appeared on ABC’s broadcast of “The View.” Go ahead and roll your eyes, I know I do when I hear those two words: the view.
While on the show, Yang said that President Donald Trump made a mistake by ordering the airstrike that killed terrorist commander Qasem Soleimani.
Co-host Abby Huntsman said, “We have to get to Iran because that is really the issue that the world is talking about, and you want the job of president of this country, one of the main issues you would be dealing with. I want to ask, because we’ve been talking about is the cost worth it to taking out General Soleimani, the number two in command there, if you were in Trump’s position,” she asked, “what would you have done?”
“Seventy-five percent of Americans do not want a war with Iran” Yang said. “So we should not be responding disproportionately in a way that elevates the conflict and tension in the region. We need to bring Iran back to the table and invest in a diplomatic solution.”
Huntsman then asked, “So you would not have killed him?”
Yang responded, “I would not have, no. I think it was a mistake.”
I think Yang’s response is quite foolish. He now appears to be a terrorist sympathizer. It is not a mistake to kill a terrorist who not only has the blood of many Americans on his hands, but also the blood of his own people.
It is interesting to me to hear all of the Democrats seem to talk about how it was a mistake to kill Soleimani, and how it could have been handled differently. However, I disagree. The man deserved to die and now he deserves to rot in hell for the evil he has done. He and Satan have a lot in common.
