Where were you the day that the world stopped turning?
I remember sitting in my second grade classroom when our teacher received some obviously disturbing news. She quickly turned on the classroom television, and we sat in silence as we watched our country under attack. Planes were slamming into buildings and people were jumping from burning buildings.
It was incredibly scary and I had no idea what to expect.
Here I am, twenty years later, married to a man who earned a Purple Heart fighting in the war that was started on September 11, 2001....Our troops were just pulled from Afghanistan, and we are no closer to an answer than we were back then.
However, today we remember all of those we lost. Every American life lost is one too many.
September 11th, 2001 Is A Day That Will Always Be Remembered. All Of America Stopped And Watched As Planes Were Flown Into The Side Of The Twin Towers In New York, And Thousands Lost Their Lives..
