The Rock Calls Out 'Snowflake' Culture in Interview

Actor Dwayne Johnson, also known as "The Rock," called out "snowflake" culture in an interview on Friday wiht U.K.'s Daily Star.

At different times Johnson has considered the idea of going into politics. He told Daily Start that the complaining by the snowflakes is a disservice to those who fought for freedom of speech.

“So many good people fought for freedom and equality - but this generation are looking for a reason to be offended," Johnson said. “If you are not agreeing with them then they are offended - and that is not what so many great men and women fought for.”

Although Johnson doesn't agree with what someone says or thinks or who they voted for, he will support their "right to say or believe it."

"That's democracy," Johnson said.

“We thankfully now live in a world that has progressed over the last 30 or 40 years,” the 46-year-old wrestler turned Hollywood superstar continued. "People can be who they want, be with who they want, and live how they want.

“That can only be a good thing – but generation snowflake or, whatever you want to call them, are actually putting us backwards.”

It's good to see someone in Hollywood who isn't afraid to ruffle some feathers and call out the snowflakes.
