A prominent name in real estate is reacting to President Biden not seeking re-election. He claims the Democratic Party isn’t what it used to be.
"The Democratic Party I grew up with is no longer about regular people. Now we know it’s all been a sham," says Grant Cardone, CEO of Cardone Capital. He spoke to Fox News Digital just one day after Biden’s announcement.
"First thing I thought was, ‘We’ve been lied to for over four years,’" Cardone continued. "He should immediately step down."
Biden posted a letter on X, stating he’s dropping out of the 2024 race. Minutes later, he endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to top the ticket.
Since the first presidential debate in June, Biden faced defections from Democratic lawmakers. They called on him to withdraw after multiple shaky public performances.

Sunday’s news solidified Cardone’s endorsement of former President Trump.
"Personally, I trust him to deregulate business, protect America, and inspire middle-class wealth," Cardone explained. "He’ll be great for real estate, which is in big trouble if we don’t lower interest rates immediately."
"I’m in the south of France, and people here can’t believe what’s happening in America. They want Trump. These are some of the most successful people in the world," the real estate tycoon added. "They believe Trump is the best thing for America and world peace."
According to Cardone, U.S. home buyers and sellers became more optimistic after Trump’s assassination attempt at a Pennsylvania rally over a week ago.
"[Trump] is the only person who can save the American Dream," he said.
"Trump will destroy Kamala. Her policies have failed, and I doubt she will poll well enough for Democrats to nominate her," Cardone said.
"No one can beat Trump! Not even Barack, if he could run again. America wants success again."
