The CNN Democrat Presidential debate featured an atheist commercial that starred Ron Reagan, the son of President Ronald Reagan. The conservative icon's son said that as "an unabashed atheist," he is "not afraid of burning in hell." Clearly he was mocking anyone who believes in heaven and hell.
The 30-second ad was looking for donations for an atheist group, the Freedom From Religion Foundation. It was shown during the first and second half of the Democrat debate.
“Can you think of any ad more suitable for showing at a Democratic Party event than one from an atheist-linked organization?” The Washington Times’ Cheryl Chumley asked.
Here is what the son of President Ronald Reagan said during the commercial:
Hi, I'm Ron Reagan, an unabashed atheist, and I'm alarmed by the intrusion of religion into our secular government. That's why I'm asking you to support the Freedom From Religion Foundation, the nation's largest and most effective association of atheists and agnostics, working to keep state and church separate, just like our Founding Fathers intended. Please support the Freedom From Religion Foundation. Ron Reagan, lifelong atheist, not afraid of burning in hell.

The ad continued to run the following day.

CBS, NBC, ABC and Discovery Science networks have been refusing the ad since 2014. It has ran on CNN, Comedy Central and MSNBC during the Rachel Maddow Show, per a report from the Freedom From Religion Foundation.
The left just giving the Republican Party more reason to band together. This was a slap in the face to the conservative values of America.
