Joe Biden is willing to cater to anyone to get a vote. Now he's taking things a step further. Biden promises to cure cancer if he's elected president.
The former VP was in Iowa speaking at an event. President Trump had flown into the state the same day.
Biden's son Beau died from brain cancer back in 2015. He called finding a cure for cancer "single most important thing that changes America."
Biden also added, "I promise you if I'm elected president, you're going to see the single most important thing that changes America, we're gonna cure cancer."

In the past Biden has launched several cancer initiatives. While in office with Barack Obama, he headed the "Cancer Moonshot" program. Then after leaving office he also headed the Biden Cancer Initiative.
There were only a couple hundred people attending Biden's event in Iowa, but there were three cable news networks that aired it live.
During the event he attacked President Trump on the economy, which is something Trump takes a lot of pride in.
President Trump used his stop in Iowa to mention Biden and how people don't respect him. He also called Biden out by the number of times he mentions his name.
President Trump: "People don't respect [Joe Biden]. Even the people that he's running against... He makes his stance in Iowa once every 2 weeks and then he mentions my name 74 times in one speech. That reminds me of Crooked Hillary." pic.twitter.com/vzjOrD8lZq

While the polls seem to have Biden as the leading Democratic nominee, he continues to have very small rallies. It will be interesting to see how things shake out as the primary debates are set to begin in the coming weeks.
