Holy cow! I had no idea Australia was so authoritarian! In the video below, you can see a 28-year-old pregnant mother being served a warrant and then arrested in front of her partner and two children on Wednesday. They claimed she was "inciting" a coronavirus lockdown protest on Facebook.
Zoe Buhler was arrested in her own home just an hour before a scheduled ultrasound after she created a "freedom day" event on Facebook, which urged people to peacefully gather in protest against the government's strict lockdown measures.
“As some of you may have seen the government has gone to extreme measures and are using scare tactics through the media to prevent the Melbourne protest," ABC News reports about the now deleted post. “Here in Ballarat we can be a voice for those in stage four lockdowns. We can be seen and heard and hopefully make a difference!”
