It's been a tough year and a half for Roseanne Barr. She was fired from her own sitcome, but now Roseanne Barr is back with a new comeback comedy tour.
Barr sat down for an interview with Jesse Palmer of DailyMailTV. They discussed her infamous "Ambien tweet" as well as how excited she is to get back to stand-up comedy.
The 66-year-old comedy legend is going to tour with Andrew Dice Clay as part of the Mr. and Mrs. America Tour, which is set to kickoff at the Paramount Theater in Long Island, New Jersey on September 19. It will be followed with a show at the Hard Rock in Atlantic City, New Jersey on the following day.
"I was really nervous ... you know, really nervous," Barr said to Jesse Palmer. 'Dice talked me into it. He goes, people are wanting to hear what you have to say. I said, I`ll do a couple, we`ll see how it goes."
To say Barr is fired up about uniting with Andrew Dice Clay is an understatement.
"I love stand-up comedy and it's just a blast to be able to go do it and have backup in the form of another great comic," Barr said with a smile.
