On Tuesday night President Trump delivered his annual State of the Union Address from the House Chamber. Socialist Bernie Sanders, in particular, didn't seem to like it.
President Trump called for unity. He also celebrated the success of the economy, including record low unemployment along with deregulation and business-friendly policies that have made this happen.
President Trump also took a shot at the far-left Democrats who are embracing socialism.
“We are alarmed by the new calls to adopt socialism in our country,” President Trump said to a loud mix of cheers and boos.
“America was founded on liberty and independence and not government coercion, domination and control.”
“We are born free and we will stay free!” President Trump said and the crowd went wild and a "USA! USA!" chant broke out.
When President Trump stated, “Tonight we renew our resolve that America will never be a Socialist country!” he received a standing ovation.
