Will Ferrell Channels Classic Scene From Movie in Viral Video at College Frat

Will Ferrell took center stage during Family Weekend at the University of Southern California, making a surprise appearance at a fraternity gathering where he took on the role of a DJ.

Clips circulating on social media showcased the ex-"Saturday Night Live" actor immersing himself in the DJ set at a Sigma Alpha Mu event, donned in a black tracksuit, a reversed baseball cap, sunglasses, and headphones, fully engrossed in the rhythm.

Magnus, Ferrell's oldest son and a budding musician, is in his second year at USC. Notably, Ferrell is also an alumnus of the university, having graduated in 1990.

A video circulating on social media shows Ferrell owning the stage, energetically clapping overhead while Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger" resonates with the audience. Amidst the young crowd, Ferrell appears reminiscent of his character from the film "Old School," channeling vibes of Frank the Tank.

Another clip captures Ferrell grooving and exchanging fist bumps as the catchy track "N----s in Paris" by Kanye West and Jay-Z plays.

Ferrell, at 56, has two other sons with his wife Viveca. The couple has been married since 2000.

Magnus' official Instagram reveals that he's set to drop new music on Oct. 15, with a celebratory release party at the Vermont Hollywood. Another budding artist, Reese Witherspoon's son Deacon, is also scheduled to make a special appearance.

Fox News Digital reached out to Ferrell's team for a statement, but there was no immediate reply.

Ferrell, renowned for his role in "Elf", wasn't the sole celebrity parent gracing the campus this weekend. Vanessa Bryant, spouse of the dearly departed Kobe Bryant, was present to cheer on her daughter Natalia throughout the extended weekend festivities.
