In what universe does the president of the free world dodge questions about serious issues time and time again? It feels like we are living in an alternate reality as President Joe Biden continues to refuse to answer questions about things like Afghanistan and the southern border crisis.
Usually he just turns and walks away from reporters and their questions. However, in the clip below that is making its rounds on the internet, Biden is seen sitting in a chair as his handlers aggressively attempt to shield him from questions about the border crisis.
A female reporter can be heard saying, "Mr. President, do you think -" and then she is rudely cut off by one of his handlers who loudly and continuously repeats, "Thank you, let's go," over anyone trying to ask questions.

The White House Press Pool on Tuesday launched a “formal objection” to Joe Biden refusing to take questions.
Joe Biden participated in a bilateral meeting with UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Tuesday in the Oval Office.
Boris Johnson unexpectedly answered three questions from British reporters while Biden’s handlers shouted down the press.
American reporters tried to ask Joe Biden questions but they were blocked.
“Johnson took 3 questions. White House aides shouted down U.S. attempts to ask questions. I asked Biden about southern border and we couldn’t decipher what he said,” CBS reporter Ed O’Keefe said.
It goes against protocol to have an uneven distribution of representatives allowed to ask questions.
