Martha Stewart, who is 82 years old, posted a new photo on Instagram. It shows her in her bathroom mirror, wearing a silver nightgown. This photo is similar to another photo she posted in July 2020.
"After an eight hour plane trip from westchester to palm beach- horrible by the way - we went to bed early and wore my beautiful @sabbiarosa nightgown (linen with robe)," she captioned the post. "I didn't look so bad when I got up at least not as bad as I did when I went to bed- it must be the $$$$$outfit!!"
She also got a lot of attention for her Instagram post in July 2020. She said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in April 2021 that many people contacted her with offers and proposals after that photo became popular.
Stewart has become skilled at taking attention-grabbing photos. In February 2022, she shared selfie tips in a TikTok campaign for Clé de Peau Beauté, a beauty brand. She advised people to feel fabulous when taking photos and promoted the brand's products.
Her poolside selfie from 2020 is still famous. But she told PEOPLE magazine in November 2020 that she took that photo by accident.
"I was trying to take a picture of the beautiful turquoise planter at the end of the pool, but the camera was on me, so I just snapped it,” Stewart shared. "It looked so good, so I posted it. I didn't know what a 'thirst trap' was, but now I do. Now I'm looking for the next thirst trap. I love doing those promiscuous, provocative things, because it's just fun."
When PEOPLE magazine talked to Martha Stewart recently, she hinted that she might post another eye-catching photo. Soon after, she shared a selfie from a pool in a 13th-century castle turned resort in Italy, called Hotel Castello di Reschio.
She described the place as creative, high-quality, and perfect for a selfie. The photo was taken in a candle-lit pool tower before she went to a massage and a birthday event for the founder of the fashion brand Brunello Cucinelli.
