Earlier this week, Robert De Niro revealed that he has become a father once again.
During an interview with ET Canada, the renowned actor, known for his role in The Godfather, was asked about being a father of six children. However, he corrected the reporter by saying that he has seven children and went on to disclose that he had welcomed a new addition to his family. No details about the baby's gender or name were given.
"I just had a baby," he said.
Despite being asked, the 79-year-old Academy Award-winning actor did not disclose any details regarding the mother of his newborn. However, his past relationship with martial arts instructor Tiffany Chen had been widely publicized, with photos of the couple holding hands in July 2022 surfacing online. Moreover, in March of the same year, Chen was spotted leaving a restaurant in Santa Monica, California, appearing to be pregnant.

While Robert De Niro did not comment on these rumors, his representative confirmed to DailyMail.com that the actor does have seven children, and his recent announcement was not a mistake.
During the promotion of his new film "About My Father" this week, Robert De Niro was interviewed by ET Canada about his experience as a father. The topic arose after rumors circulated in March of this year when he was spotted leaving an Italian restaurant in Santa Monica with martial arts instructor Tiffany Chen, who appeared to have a baby bump. The couple had dined with Harvey Keitel and Billy Crystal.
When asked about his parenting style, De Niro shared that he believes in showing love towards his children, but also emphasized the importance of being firm when necessary.
In 2018, Robert De Niro ended his 20-year marriage with Grace Hightower.
Robert De Niro shares two children, Drena (51) and Raphael (46), with his ex-wife Diahnne Abbott. With his former spouse, Grace Hightower, he has two additional children, Elliot (25) and Helen (11).
