Three months post the birth of their first child, Al Pacino's partner Noor Alfallah is seeking full custody of the infant.
On Wednesday, in Los Angeles, 29-year-old Alfallah submitted a petition to clarify the parental association involving her, Pacino, and their baby, according to a story by Page Six. This form is traditionally utilized by unmarried pairs to outline the rules concerning custody, financial support for the child, and rights to visitation.
The paperwork granted 83-year-old Pacino the option for “reasonable visitation” with the baby. It proposed joint legal custody but sole physical custody for Alfallah. She further asked the esteemed actor to cover her legal expenses and charges related to court proceedings.
Page Six indicated Pacino's astonishment at fathering a child given his age and more so due to a medical condition commonly resulting in infertility. The iconic actor has three additional kids: Julie, 33, with former partner Jan Tarrant, and 22-year-old twins, Anton and Olivia, with another ex, Beverly D’Angelo. Marriage has never been part of Pacino's journey.
Insiders mentioned his request for a DNA test to verify his paternity to the baby.
Upon confirming he was the father, the protagonist of “Scarface” expressed enthusiasm at the prospect of parenthood once more.
In footage acquired by The Daily Mail, he remarked, “It’s very special,” adding, “It always has been. I’ve got many kids. But this is really special coming at this time.”
Page Six highlighted that Pacino and Alfallah have been discreetly involved romantically since 2020. Alfallah's past romantic ties include Rolling Stones' lead Mick Jagger and billionaire investor Nicolas Berggruen. An informant shared with the publication that her romantic history predominantly features “very rich older men.”
On the topic of fatherhood, Pacino previously shared with The New Yorker in 2014, “I’m responsible to them. I’m a part of their life. When I’m not, it’s upsetting to me and to them. So that’s part of the gestalt. And I get a lot from it. It takes you out of yourself.”
Interestingly, the revelation about Pacino becoming a father at 83 came shortly after another cinematic giant, Robert De Niro, aged 79, made public the news of his baby with partner Tiffany Chen. De Niro's family includes six other kids from three different relationships. Both Pacino and DeNiro are celebrated as some of the most illustrious actors of their time, with collaborations in timeless movies such as “Heat” (1995) and “The Godfather Part II” (1974).
