Biden Tells Man 'You're Too Old to Vote for Me', Challenges Him to Push-Up Contest

Former Vice President Joe Biden got into an argument with an audience member at one of his campaign stops in Iowa. The man accused him of sending Hunter Biden, his son, to work for an energy company in Ukraine in order to get access for the president.

"You're a damn liar, man. That's not true," the presidential candidate said in response. The two went back and forth, and then Joe added, "By the way ... I'm not sedentary."

Then the most bizarre thing happened: Biden challenged the man to a push-up contest. "You want to check my shape man, let's do pushups together here, man," Biden said, "Let's run. Let's do whatever you want to do. Let's take an IQ test. OK?"

Then the audience member said that he would not be voting for Biden, the former senator said, "Of course you're not; you're too old to vote for me!"

Yikes. Here is the exchange:

Biden's campaign senior adviser, Symone Sanders, tweeted later in an attempt do damage control. She wrote, "Let's be clear RE: the exchange VP Biden had with a voter in Iowa earlier today: 1) the gentleman is a self identified Warren supporter who said he would vote for the VP in a general election 2) his facts were flat-out wrong and 3) the crowd backed VP Biden up in his response."

I still find the exchange interesting though considering that, if he were to win, Biden would be the oldest person ever elected president. Yet he wants to call potential voters "too old" to vote for him.
