Charles Barkley Calls out Black Voters for All Voting Democrat and 'Still Poor,' Blasts CNN

This is not the first time Charles Barkley has made his stance on blacks voting Democrat. Barkley called out black voters for all voting Democrat and still being poor.

Barkley attended last night's Democrat debate in Detroit. He said, "Every black person I know has always voted Democratic and with the exception of a few guys who can play sports, all those people are still poor," to Yahoo News.

Barkley first spoke about the situation back in 2017 but he mentioned that the situation has not improved since then.

"I think all politicians take black folks for granted. They talk to black folks every four years and that's about it and then do nothing about it. Both parties suck in that aspect," Barkley said.

Barkley then took a shot at CNN's coverage of the debate and for having 10 candidates at once. He then joked that he hoped he didn't get fired since he works at TNT, a sister company of CNN.

He suggested to Yahoo: "We can do a much better job [of the debates], especially CNN. We could do a much better job of doing like an individual night where we have plenty of time."

Chuck made this statement with Jeff Zucker, the boss of TNT and CNN's sports coverage, standing next to him. Barkley made mention of this and added, "He's not going to fire me. At least I hope."

The NBA star was asked who he would back out of the Democratic Party field. He made mention of HUD Secretary Julian Castro, who was not at last night's debate and also Pete Buttigieg, the Mayor of South Bend.

While Barkley did call out President Trump for his inflammatory comments about "The Squad" he was hesitant to call Trump a racist.

Barkley said, "I'm leery of calling people 'racist.' He says some things that can be construed as ''racist''. Some things he's said are very wrong and flagrant."

Elizabeth Warren had the chance to talk to Charles Barkley in Detroit. When asked about their discussion she completely fan girled out.

It's good to see a professional athlete like Charles Barkley go against the grain. He's described himself as an independent, but definitely is not afraid to call out the left for their hypocrisy.
