During Saturday's broadcast of "PoliticsNation" on MSNBC, civil rights attorney Jill Collen Jefferson likened people who believe in pro-life policies to suicide bombers.
Jefferson claimed that anyone who defends the rights of the unborn not to be murdered are like a "suicide bomber" because they feel "like they have the right and the moral duty to mess up somebody else’s life for the greater good."
What kind of logic is that?? Pro-lifers are attempting to stop a life from being stolen, prevent a human being from being murdered.
“Attorney Jefferson, as we talk about civil and human rights in Mississippi, I want to mention the Supreme Court is set to hear arguments about a currently blocked state law that would ban all abortions after 15 weeks. And so, the heavily poor, young, and black women who stand to lose access to the only abortion clinic in the state sounds as much about civil rights as abortion rights to me. What are your thoughts, counselor?” asked host Al Sharpton.
“Yes, this is a matter of civil rights,” Jefferson responded. “Having the right to an abortion is a constitutional right. It’s grounded in the right to privacy that is within the Constitution. And I find it really interesting that part of this argument is an argument about, you know, ‘the right to an abortion is not explicitly listed in the Constitution.’ But you know what? Neither is the right to bear arms. The way that we interpret that law is the interpretation of a constitutional provision, the Second Amendment.”
She added, “In this, we are interpreting another constitutional provision, yet we’re not applying that same logic to the situation. What it reminds me of, quite honestly, is a suicide bomber, someone who feels like they have the right and the moral duty to mess up somebody else’s life for the greater good.”

Great men are almost exclusively bad men, even where they exercise influence and not authority,” Cruz said, pulling from a series of letters to Bishop Craig from Lord Acton. He added that “those words were true in 1887, and they’re true today.”

Rep. Steve Scalise: Democrats are 'Throwing Science Out the Window'
On Friday, Rep. Steve Scalise declared that Democrats are ''throwing science out the window'' in regards to COVID and mask mandates.
''If you look at this, you know that the science is being thrown out the window a lot of times because a lot of these Democrats wanted the (COVID-related) shutdowns last year, they wanted to keep kids out of schools, and you see some of them trying to lay the groundwork for that to happen again. That can't happen again," he told Newsmax. ''The science says...
