Republican Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw responded to Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez's dancing video where she claimed the GOP thinks dancing is "scandalous."
“I hear the GOP thinks women dancing are scandalous. Wait till they find out Congresswomen dance too,” the Democratic socialist announced on Twitter. She was responding to a nine-year-old video of her dancing that had surfaced and was exploding on social media.

Wait till they find out Congresswomen dance too! ????????

It's not clear exactly who thought the dancing was scandalous, but it was most likely another example of her painting with a broad brush and making assumptions.
Crenshaw replied on Twitter, "No one thinks this is scandalous. Dance away (was actually pretty good)." He also pointed out what the GOP actually thinks is scandalous.

What is scandalous is increasing income taxes to 70%. It’s wholly unethical for anyone to work a majority of the year just to give their money to the government.
Dancing’s great, but ideas matter more. https://t.co/8RIShEJjAL

Just days before, Ocasio-Cortez pushed for taxes up to 70 percent for the country's top earners. This was to fund the "Green New Deal" that AOC is pushing.
Crenshaw found humor in the socialism defenders backing "marginal tax rates."
Laughing to myself as socialism’s defenders exclaim “but its MARGINAL tax rates!”, as if that makes the 70% proposal any more ethical or intelligent.
We know the rates are marginal. Doesn’t change the argument.
