New York Mayor Bill de Blasio is begging for supplies and personnel, claiming that the city will run out of their ventilator supply by Monday, or Tuesday.
"I don't know after Sunday if we're going to have what we need, and that's just the ventilators," de Blasio told CNN anchor John Berman. The mayor added that officials predict that NYC will have about 5,000 patients with COVID-19 that will need ventilators.

The Hill reports:
New York state has been the hardest hit part of the country by the virus, with over 92,000 confirmed cases, according to The New York Times. Nearly 52,000 of those cases come from New York City.
Additionally, Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) warned on Thursday that the state would run out of its stockpile of ventilators within the next six days if it didn't receive further assistance.
The USNS Comfort arrived in New York this week to help with the city's overflow of patients.
President Trump claimed during a White House coronavirus briefing that droves of ventilators were shipped to New York by the federal government.
"We sent thousands of ventilators to New York, and they didn't know about it at the time they were complaining," Trump said. "They were going there in large numbers."
So where are all those supplies? Things that make you wonder...
