An old video has resurfaced that proves Elizabeth Warren has been lying about being fired from her teaching position because she became pregnant.
While appearing in Carson City, Nevada this past week, the Democratic 2020 hopeful claimed she was wrongly terminated by her job as special needs teacher.
"By the end of the first year, I was visibly pregnant, and the principal did what principals did in those days. Wish me luck and hire someone else for the job," Warren said.
This is a story she has repeated time and time again on the campaign trail. She always repeated the line that the "principal did what principals did" when it comes to her leaving teaching.
She even took things a step further and claimed that she would still be teaching if she hadn't been fired due to becoming pregnant.
Elizabeth Warren says that she probably would still would be a special needs teacher today, if she hadn't gotten fired for being visibly pregnant (in the days before unions).

Now it's pretty obvious that this story is false. While being interviews in 2007 she had a completely different reason for leaving her teaching job.
"I was married at nineteen and then graduated from college [at the University of Houston] after I’d married, my first year post-graduation, I worked -- it was in a public school system but I worked with the children with disabilities. I did that for a year, and then that summer I actually didn’t have the education courses, so I was on an 'emergency certificate,' it was called. I went back to graduate school and took a couple of courses in education and said, 'I don’t think this is going to work out for me,' I was pregnant with my first baby, so I had a baby and stayed home for a couple of years, and I was really casting about, thinking, 'What am I going to do?' My husband’s view of it was, 'Stay home. We have children, we’ll have more children, you’ll love this.' And I was very restless about it."

Sadly, this probably won't have any impact on her supporters. Also she will keep on lying and saying whatever it takes to get ahead in this crowded field of Democrats.
