Former CNN host Don Lemon went on an expletive-filled rant against MAGA supporters on his YouTube channel.
Lemon called Trump supporters "dumb f---ing idiots" and mocked what he described as their "stupid MAGA brain" during an episode of his show.
"You're so f---ing stupid, and you deserve it," he said. "Yes, I am gloating over your stupidity."
He continued, "You’ve been co-opted because you're in a f---ing cult. You don't even realize it because you have stupid MAGA brain and you don't get it. How stupid and dumb are you?"
Tensions within the MAGA base flared last week after Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, leaders of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), expressed support for H-1B visas. This stance divided the base.
Steve Bannon, leading a different faction, criticized H-1B visas on his podcast, calling them a "scam" that steals American jobs and brings in "indentured servants at lower wages."
Over the weekend, Trump backed Musk and Ramaswamy, publicly supporting H-1B visas. Lemon chimed in, mentioning Sriram Krishnan, Trump's newly appointed senior adviser on artificial intelligence.
Krishnan’s appointment sparked backlash online, especially due to his advocacy for expanded immigration policies. Lemon mocked the uproar, saying, "Oh no, immigration. We can't do the immigration because, you know, it triggers some people."
He laughed, adding, "Who's to say one of those jobs you’re worried about won't be one of those White jobs?"
Lemon, fired from CNN in April 2023 after multiple controversies, has often sparked outrage. His outspoken commentary on Trump supporters, comparisons to the KKK, and remarks about the unvaccinated made headlines.
Most recently, he slammed Time Magazine for naming Trump their Person of the Year. "If they wanted someone for Person of the Year, they could’ve picked anyone who actually stands for democracy," Lemon said.
