Mike Haracz, who was once a corporate McDonald's chef, recently shared on TikTok that he has discovered a product which closely resembles one of McDonald's famous breakfast items.
The chef, who claims to have previously worked as a corporate chef for McDonald's, disclosed a very similar alternative to the chain's well-known breakfast sausage patty. Interestingly, this imitation is available at Walmart.
"This biggest thing to finding dupes is comparing ingredient and nutritional information from both McDonald’s and the products you are searching for," Haracz of Illinois said.
"The most important part, though, is obviously the taste," he said. "You will also want to try and cook the item in a similar manner to the product you are trying to copy."

Haracz, known on TikTok as @chefmikeharacz, examined the ingredients and nutritional details of the breakfast sausage patty listed on the fast food chain's website. Following his assessment of several similar breakfast sausage patties, he concluded that the Great Value pork breakfast sausage patties available at Walmart closely resemble those served at McDonald's.
Previously, Haracz gained notable attention on TikTok for discovering a Walmart product that mimics the taste of McDonald's "Big Mac" sauce, further establishing his knack for finding equivalents to popular McDonald's items at the retail giant.
