Fox News Announces New Prime Time Lineup: Tucker Carlson Replacement Confirmed

On Monday, FOX News Media CEO Suzanne Scott revealed that the Fox News Channel is set to launch a fresh primetime lineup on July 17.

The evening programming will commence with "The Ingraham Angle" hosted by Laura Ingraham at 7 p.m. ET. Subsequently, "Jesse Watters Primetime" will move to the 8 p.m. ET slot, while "Hannity" will continue airing at 9 p.m. ET. Finally, the new addition, "Gutfeld!," will premiere at 10 p.m. ET.

"FOX News Channel has been America’s destination for news and analysis for more than 21 years and we are thrilled to debut a new lineup. The unique perspectives of Laura Ingraham, Jesse Watters, Sean Hannity, and Greg Gutfeld will ensure our viewers have access to unrivaled coverage from our best-in-class team for years to come," Scott announced.

Ingraham, recognized as the most-watched female host in cable news, has had the honor of hosting numerous prominent political figures on her show since its inception in 2017. Over the years, she has interviewed presidents, members of Congress, and key officials from the White House. "The Ingraham Angle" achieved exceptional ratings as the highest-rated 10 p.m. program across cable news, prompting its move to an earlier time slot to kick off Fox News' primetime lineup. Ingraham, a former litigator and Supreme Court law clerk for Justice Clarence Thomas, initially joined FNC as a contributor in 2007.

Since its debut last year, "Jesse Watters Primetime" has experienced remarkable growth and quickly established itself as the cable news program with the highest rate of expansion. Jesse Watters will maintain his role as a co-host on "The Five," which has maintained its position as the most-watched cable news program for seven consecutive quarters.

For the past 18 months, "Jesse Watters Primetime" has dominated its timeslot, securing the top spot with its unique perspective on major headlines and captivating interviews. Since its launch, the show has become the highest-rated 7 p.m. program in the history of cable news.

Meanwhile, Sean Hannity, renowned as the longest-running primetime cable news host, will continue to occupy his familiar timeslot with his self-titled show. Since its inception as a solo hour in January 2009, "Hannity" has reigned supreme in cable news ratings for 14 consecutive years. Prior to hosting his own program, Hannity partnered with the late Alan Colmes in the popular "Hannity & Colmes" show.

Throughout his career, Hannity has conducted interviews with influential figures, including former President Trump, former Vice President Mike Pence, former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, then-President George W. Bush, then-Vice President Dick Cheney, former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, George Zimmerman, former New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, Reverend Jesse Jackson, as well as notable personalities like Sylvester Stallone, Roseanne Barr, Kim Kardashian, Mel Gibson, Michael Moore, Michael Phelps, Richard Petty, Charlie Daniels, Brad Paisley, and most recently, award-winning actor and director Sean Penn.
