In a recent interview, country music icon Garth Brooks assured that his forthcoming bar would offer "every brand of beer" once it opens.
The Friends In Low Places Bar & Honky Tonk, situated in the heart of downtown Nashville, Tennessee, is currently still in its construction phase.
"I want it to be a place you feel safe in, I want it to be a place where you feel like there are manners and people like one another. And yes, we’re going to serve every brand of beer. We just are. It’s not our decision to make," Brooks said in an interview with Billboard. "Our thing is this: If you [are let] into this house, love one another. If you’re an a--hole, there are plenty of other places on lower Broadway."
Brooks becomes one of several musicians to weigh in on the Bud Light dispute, which ignited when the beer titan sent Dylan Mulvaney, a transgender TikTok celebrity, a custom-made beer pack featuring the influencer's image as a promotion for the company's March Madness competition. This move sparked outrage among consumers, leading to a widespread boycott of all products from Anheuser-Busch.
Taking a contrasting position to Brooks, musicians John Rich of Big & Rich and Kid Rock have expressed their disapproval towards the beer brand.

Bud Light, still dealing with consumer backlash, experienced another week of falling U.S. sales in the final week of May.
Bump Williams Consulting provided NielsenIQ data to FOX Business, showing a 23.9% drop in Bud Light's dollar-based sales for the week ending May 27, compared to the same period the previous year. The data further indicated that sales for the Anheuser-Busch-owned brand plummeted 24.5% over the preceding four weeks ending with that date.
