The holiday comedy film "Jingle Smells," produced by Fox News host Sean Hannity and executive producer John Schneider, has been released a day earlier than scheduled, just before Thanksgiving.
As reported by WGN, Hannity revealed the early release of his movie on Rumble during an episode of "The Sean Hannity Show," explaining that the decision was made in response to audience enthusiasm.
“We’re breaking away from mainstream Hollywood and doing something totally different,” Hannity said. “Jingle Smells is a hilarious and heartwarming story filled with a great message and void of all the crazy agendas being presented by those other entertainment platforms. Jingle Smells is a movie that your entire family can enjoy together this Christmas season.”
The family-oriented movie features a cast including John Schneider, Eric Roberts, and Ben Davies, as reported by the outlet. The film also includes appearances by well-known actors such as Jim Breuer, Victoria Jackson, Dylan Postl, Brad Stine, James Storm, Jaclyn Stapp, and Sean Hannity himself. Additionally, the Jay Sekulow Band made a musical appearance, and the voice of former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee was featured in the film.
According to the outlet, the story centers around war veteran Nick Gutman, portrayed by Ben Davies, who starts working with his father, a garbageman played by John Schneider, and his eccentric colleagues. The team is tasked with a "secret mission" to dispose of Christmas toys that depict a film star, played by James Storm, who was "canceled" due to his patriotic beliefs. Adopting the moniker "Jingle Smells," Nick transforms into "the Robin Hood of the Holidays."
“It’s not often that someone comes up with a whole new angle on a Christmas movie, Jingle Smells is exactly that. A breath of cool, fresh air,” John Schneider said.
The outlet reported that "Jingle Smells" marks the first non-documentary feature to premiere on Rumble. Produced by ACLJ Films, in collaboration with Laugh-O-Gram Studios, Logan Sekulow Originals, and Keystone Films, the film was directed by Daniel Lukas with a screenplay penned by Bart Scott and Logan Sekulow.
