Podcast host Joe Rogan said Wednesday that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. joining President Donald Trump’s administration made him “most excited” about what’s to come. Rogan, who endorsed Trump the day before the election, praised the move as a sign of real reform. He believes Kennedy’s role could lead to sweeping changes in health and government transparency.
“The thing that I was most excited about was Bobby Kennedy,” Rogan said on his show. “When Bobby Kennedy united with Trump, I was like, ‘Okay, I’m in.’” He said the partnership could finally reveal why Americans face declining health despite living in a wealthy nation.
“It’s going to give people a real understanding of what’s going on behind the scenes — why you’ve been lied to, why all these drugs are everywhere, why you’re seeing poor health outcomes,” he said. Rogan added, “We’re the richest nation in the world but also the sickest.” For him, Kennedy’s presence signals hope for lasting solutions.
Rogan also said he expects transparency to improve “across the board,” especially in education. “With education, we’re the richest nation in the world. We have terrible education scores,” he said. “Like, why? Why, since we developed the Department of Education, have our scores plummeted?”
He endorsed Trump officially on X after his November 4 interview with Elon Musk. “If it wasn’t for him we’d be fucked,” Rogan wrote. “He makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you’ll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way.”
In August, Rogan had also praised Kennedy on his show. Some media outlets called it an endorsement, but Rogan clarified his comments on X. He said he admired Kennedy’s intelligence and civility, but hadn’t formally endorsed him at the time.
“I think we could use more of that in this world,” he wrote. He also praised Trump’s resilience. “Trump raising his fist and saying ‘fight!’ after getting shot is one of the most American fucking things of all time.”
During their October 25 interview, Rogan asked Trump whether anyone opposed his partnership with Kennedy. Trump replied, “Big Pharma wasn’t thrilled.” The answer drew headlines, as both men have been vocal critics of pharmaceutical companies.
Trump and Kennedy promised during the campaign to tackle health issues together. Their shared goals include better nutrition, reducing obesity, and pushing the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) agenda. Rogan believes it’s exactly what the country needs.
