Kate Winslet Confesses She Has a 'Rude and Sexual' Retirement Fantasy

Kate Winslet is keeping her retirement plans a secret, admitting they might be a little too "inappropriate" to share.

On Wednesday's "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," Winslet mentioned she hasn't worked for a full year. Her new film, "Lee," was delayed due to Hollywood strikes.

When the conversation shifted to her retirement fantasies, she hesitated to share the details.

"I said I would go fishing," Colbert joked.

Winslet replied, "I don't think I can say what I would do, because it's so inappropriate. No, I can't." She continued, even as Colbert tried to coax her into revealing more.

"No, I actually can't… because it's rude and sexual, so I can't say it," Winslet laughed, as the audience cheered and Colbert smiled.

"Listen, I ain't never getting old! That's all I need to say right now. No retiring for me, never."

She repeated, "I don't think I can say what I would do, because it is so inappropriate. No, I can't."

While she kept her retirement secret, Winslet did open up about the iconic door scene from "Titanic" with Leonardo DiCaprio.

"It was an awkward tank," Winslet shared with People. "At that time, it was waist-high. So, I was always like, 'Can I go for a pee?' I’d have to get off the door, walk to the edge, climb out, and then get back on. It was terrible," she said.

She added, "Leo was kneeling down. I probably shouldn't say that… Jimmy Cameron’s going to call me. The tank had rushing water and the sound was constant."

A few months earlier, Winslet had also shared with Vanity Fair how kissing DiCaprio wasn’t exactly dreamy.

"This was a nightmare to shoot because Leo couldn’t stop laughing. We had to reshoot it four times," she revealed. "He’s quite the romancer, right? No wonder every girl wanted to kiss Leonardo DiCaprio. But it’s not all it’s cracked up to be."

Her makeup would transfer onto DiCaprio’s face, making them both look messy between takes.

Still, despite the challenges, Winslet said she’s "very proud" of Titanic.
