Soccer star Megan Rapinoe began kneeling during the national anthem back in 2016. She claimed she was protesting "white supremacy" and going along with the "Black Lives Matter" movement. Later on she expanded it to a protest of how gays are treated in the United States.
Then last week when asked about her protesting, she said it was in response to President Trump and all of his racism.
Rapinoe was extremely angry when the women's league forced the players to remain in the locker room to avoid making headlines with their anthem antics.
During an interview with Henry Bushnell of Yahoo Sports, Rapinoe trashed President Trump. This was just before leaving for France to participate in the Women's World Cup.
President Trump called the soccer star out while doing an interview with Fox News. “You have to stand proudly for the national anthem or you shouldn’t be playing, you shouldn’t be there, maybe they shouldn’t be in the country."
In response Megan Rapinoe told reports, "I'm not going to the f**king White House!"
