McDonald’s is bringing back the Snack Wrap, a fan-favorite menu item.
"The Snack Wrap will be back in 2025. This has a cult following. I get so many emails into my inbox about this product. It will be back in 2025," McDonald’s U.S. President Joe Erlinger told "Good Morning America" on Thursday.
The announcement was also teased on X, with McDonald’s posting, "snack wraps xx.xx.2025." Fans were thrilled by the news.
The Snack Wrap hasn’t been on U.S. menus for about eight years. Its absence has left many loyal customers eagerly awaiting its return.
Erlinger, however, didn’t reveal exactly when it will be back. He cited "competitive reasons" for keeping the timeline vague.
Originally launched in 2006, the Snack Wrap quickly gained popularity. Since its removal, fans have repeatedly called for its comeback.
The chain hinted at similar items in December 2023, announcing plans for McCrispy wraps. The McCrispy sandwich itself has been a billion-dollar success, with plans to expand it to 70 markets by the end of 2024.
McDonald’s is also making other menu moves. A new "McValue" menu debuts in January, featuring deals like a $5 meal and "Buy One, Add One for $1" offers.
