Minnesota Voters Send Strong Message to Walz at State Fair Booth

The Minnesota State Fair is buzzing this week. Attendees are flocking to an anti-Tim Walz booth. They’re eager to win "Never Walz" prizes after Walz joined the 2024 Democratic presidential ticket.

A massive sign reads, "Never Walz," at the booth. Lines stretch long as people wait for fans and T-shirts. This setup by Action 4 Liberty MN has caught the attention of many.

The booth, run by a conservative nonprofit, lets fairgoers spin a wheel. They’re winning "Never Walz" apparel. "Our supporters love it," said Erik Mortensen, a leader with Action 4 Liberty.

Mortensen emphasized their mission. "We expose RINOs and Leftists when they betray liberty," he said. The group is focused on mobilizing and training grassroots supporters.

The fair, expected to draw 2 million visitors, is seeing high traffic at this booth. Mortensen boasted, "Our lines are longer than most food booths." This despite not selling the famed fair food.

Walz is in his second term as governor. He also served in Congress from 2007 to 2019. But Mortensen, a former state representative, is critical. He claims Walz has "destroyed our state."

Mortensen explained the booth’s history. In 2021, it was themed "Never Again." This was a response to Walz’s lockdowns and mandates. "He’s a power-drunk tyrant," Mortensen remarked.

Videos online show the booth’s popularity. Mortensen noted, "The response has been overwhelming." Fair officials have even asked them to manage the crowd better.

Earlier this month, Walz was named as Kamala Harris’s running mate. This came after President Biden stepped down from the race. Walz accepted the nomination at the DNC in Chicago.

He invoked his Midwestern roots and veteran background. "Everybody belongs, and everybody has a responsibility to contribute," Walz said, recalling his childhood and military service.

But Mortensen didn’t hold back. He called Walz a "masterful shapeshifter." He accused him of stripping parental rights and signing extreme abortion laws. "Walz rules with an iron fist," Mortensen warned.
