Regardless of whether you enjoy the Barbie film, the undeniable fact is that the movie has made a significant splash. It could be argued that a small portion went to catch a glimpse of Margot Robbie's footsteps on the cinematic stage, but the overwhelming majority of those attending cinemas and offering their endorsement are enthusiasts of the franchise.
A TikToker known as Julia is one such devotee, with an intriguing tale to share about her Barbie-themed birthday bash when she was just five years old. As per her anecdote, her mother unwittingly hired an exotic dancer for the festivities via the yellow pages.
"As I prepare to head out to the Barbie movie, I suddenly recall that I celebrated my fifth birthday with a Barbie theme," she reminisces.
"My mother mentioned that she found an entertainer in the phone book, seeing as I'm supposedly 700-years-old, and back in those days, you'd simply say 'let's look up entertainers in the phone book.'"
The entertainer her mother booked was labeled as "Barbie," so she assumed it was a fitting choice and proceeded with it. However, when the entertainer showed up, the mother realized her mistake - she had engaged a stripper.
Thankfully, the stripper didn't storm into the event and immediately start disrobing. She recognized that it was a children's party and behaved appropriately.
“The woman shows up and she is a stripper. And love her, she played along, she did not take off her clothes,” she continued.
“I followed her around, thrilled that Barbie came to my birthday party, and all of the parents there had a really good laugh.”

One can only hope that the mother gave the Barbie-themed stripper a generous tip. She could have just as easily departed the celebration, which would have been devastating for the young girl.
Regrettably, all of the corroborating materials demonstrating the stripper's presence at the Barbie-themed birthday party were destroyed in a basement flooding incident.
Julia is holding out hope that the exotic dancer might still be around and open to reconnecting with her. Until such a reunion occurs, however, everyone will need to rely on her word that the event indeed took place.
