NFL Renews Partnership With Social Media Network to Continue Broadcasting Games on Their Platform

The NFL and X, formerly known as Twitter, have announced a renewed content partnership through a new multiyear deal.

Since 2013, this partnership has grown, and the latest renewal extends it for three more years.

Under this deal, X will continue to provide users with real-time NFL game highlights, including touchdowns as they occur. "X will continue to delight users with NFL in-progress game highlights including all touchdown moments after they happen in the game," said the official statement.

Additionally, the NFL and X will expand their collaboration by offering more branded content. This includes co-branded highlights, sponsored Spaces, polls, and other innovative formats.

The NFL's presence on X is massive, illustrated by the recent NFL Draft. The platform serves as a critical space for breaking news and expert analysis during such events.

During the NFL Draft alone, "There were over 1 million posts about the NFL on X, with over 806 million impressions and 89 million video views," according to X Data.

But the conversation on X isn’t just about the draft. Offseason activities like free agency signings and franchise tags also see heavy discussion.

Moreover, X becomes a key source for real-time updates during the preseason training camps. Reporters provide the latest information directly from the field.

Throughout the year, regardless of the season, the NFL maintains a strong and engaging presence on X.
