House Speaker Nancy Pelosi joins Jeb Bush in the group of people who have had to actually ask for applause.
Pelosi was appearing alongside Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer to celebrate President Biden's signing of the Inflation Reduction Act. She made the insane claim that the bill is "driving down costs for kitchen table items for America’s working families."
Um, have you been to a grocery store, Nancy?
"Mr. President, thank you for unifying and inspiring a vision of a stronger, fairer, safer future for all our children. Your extraordinary leadership has made this glorious day possible," Pelosi said.

"And let us salute Leader Schumer (and) his colleagues in the Senate for their extraordinary leadership and the success in bringing this bill to the floor," Pelosi said.
Dimwit Schumer then came in with: "That’s an applause line!"
I guess he didn't want Nancy to be the only person begging for applause.
