According to new reports, Houston Rockets star player James Harden is looking for a trade because the team owner, Tilman Fertitta, supports President Donald Trump.
NBA reporter Ric Bucher said during The Odd Couple podcast on Tuesday that there is a lot of in house strife within the Rockets organization due to the owner's political activism.
Bucher said, “But what I heard is — and we know how much politics and political position had to do with the boycott and protests during the Bubble — I’m hearing that Tilman Fertitta’s strong Republican support and donations is one of the things that is contributing to this dissatisfaction, and those two [Westbrook and Harden] are not the only ones to want out of Houston. Lesser players agree."
"There is a revolt here because they look at Fertitta as a guy who supports the current President," he added
Imagine throwing a fit because the millions of dollars you are making to throw a ball through a hoop is coming from a man who supports the president. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you!
I say trade the sorry son of a gun and hope he enjoys his higher taxes if Biden takes office.
