Sam’s Club shoppers just got some good news. The retailer has permanently expanded its Sunday hours, letting all members shop earlier and later than before.
Previously, most Sam’s Club stores were open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays. Starting October 12, stores will now open at 9 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. — giving shoppers three extra hours to stock up.
Plus members still get their exclusive early access, meaning they can start shopping at 8 a.m. on Sundays and every other day of the week.
The company said the change came after “overwhelming feedback” from customers who wanted more flexible shopping times, according to USA Today. The move also puts pressure on Costco, which recently extended its hours — but only for Executive members.
Sam’s Club’s decision gives every member more convenience and a small competitive edge in the ongoing warehouse rivalry.
