Republican South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem has become a true icon for Americans in this time of media fear-mongering and virus "crisis." She has remained calm throughout the whole situation and has closely followed the Constitution in her decision making.
Noem has not succumbed to draconian lockdowns and has allowed the state to stay open for the most part.
“I believe in our freedoms and liberties,” she said, despite the sharp backlash from the mainstream media and politicians like Elizabeth Warren.
During an interview with Fox News’s Laura Ingraham, Noem explained that she’s concerned that our panic is leading to a quick downfall in our liberties.
“I told them I took an oath to uphold the constitution of our state, of South Dakota. I took an oath when I was in Congress, obviously, to uphold the Constitution of the United States. I believe in our freedoms and liberties." Noem said, "What I’ve seen across the country is so many people give up their liberties for just a little bit of security. And they don’t have to do that."
"If a leader will take too much power in a time of crisis, that is how we lose our country," she warned. "So I felt like I’ve had to use every single opportunity to talk about why we slow things down, we make decisions based on science and facts and make sure that we’re not letting emotion grab a hold of the situation."
"Media outlets point to an outbreak at Sioux Falls pork processing plant as evidence of failure, however, that plant is considered an essential business. Meaning, it would be open regardless of a draconian shutdown order." the governor addressed, "We’ve got one issue in a pork processing plant in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, but outside of that, two-thirds of our state has no cases, or one case in an entire county. So we’re doing very well as a state."
“We are addressing the one hotspot that we do have, and aggressively testing in that area, but what you talked about, Laura, is exactly right. We should be tracking who’s in the hospital, what the death rate is. And South Dakotans are doing a fantastic job following my recommendations and we’ve been able to keep our businesses open and allow people to take on some personal responsibility,” Noem concluded.

Radio legend Rush Limbaugh recently aired some audio on his show which contained former Department of National Intelligence Director, James Clapper fessing up and admitting that it was Barack Obama that forced the spying on President Trump and his staff during his campaign for the 2016 election.
This is a massive blow and for those of us with any sense, we knew Obama was behind this. This isn't shocking news per se, but it is great to hear the admission of guilt.
