In a desperate attempt to keep her wokeness, failed Gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams flat out lied to ABC's George Stephanopolous.
Abrams claimed that Rashard Brooks, a man who was killed by police this weekend in Atlanta, was "murdered because he was asleep in a drive-through."
Abrams said, “That is why you saw the reaction from protesters. That is why the virulence of anger remain. Activists are necessarily calling into question what’s actually being done. And what I would say is there is a legitimacy to this anger. There’s a legitimacy to this outrage. A man was murdered because he was asleep in a drive-through. We know this is not an isolated occurance.”

Ahhhhh. WRONG! If Abrams took three minutes of her time to watch the actual camera footage of what happened between police and Brooks instead of lying and inciting more hatred, she should have seen that the man was not only intoxicated but also put up an extreme fight with police before stealing one of their tasers and shooting at them with it.
The dude was a plain ol' idiot and that is why he was shot. If you play stupid games, you're going to win stupid prizes.
