Fox News is making a big change to its weekend lineup. Brian Kilmeade’s Saturday show is getting replaced. Lara Trump, President Trump’s daughter-in-law, is taking over the slot.
Trump will host “My View With Lara Trump” on Saturdays at 9 p.m. Fox confirmed the change on Wednesday. Kilmeade’s “One Nation” will now move to Sunday nights at 10 p.m.
Lara Trump was previously co-chair of the Republican National Committee. She served alongside Michael Whatley. Though she won re-election, she later stepped down.
There was speculation Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis might appoint her to Marco Rubio’s Senate seat. That would have happened if Rubio left to become Secretary of State. But Trump withdrew her name from consideration.
Now, she’s stepping into weekend primetime on Fox. She had previously worked as a contributor for the network. This marks a big move into a more prominent role.
Kilmeade, meanwhile, shifts to Sunday nights. He had been hosting on Saturdays since 2022. His show will continue, just in a different time slot.
Kilmeade has been a Fox News fixture for decades. He joined as a sports reporter in 1998. Viewers still see him regularly on “Fox & Friends.”
Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott once praised him. “Brian has been a wildly popular mainstay for millions of Americans,” she said.
