VP JD Vance Jokes About How Much Alcohol It Would Take to Answer Questions Like Kamala Harris

Vice President JD Vance took a jab at Kamala Harris’ speaking style. He told Daily Caller’s Vince Coglianese that he’d have to be "completely intoxicated" to talk like her. The comment sparked laughter and a sharp contrast between the two.

Vance joked that he doesn’t take "four shots of vodka" before meetings. He claimed Harris' speeches often sounded like "word salads." He also suggested Harris and Biden didn’t trust each other, which limited her role.

“How are you doing the job differently than Kamala did it?” Coglianese asked.

“Well, I don’t have four shots of vodka before every meeting,” Vance quipped. He argued Harris relied on confusing rhetoric. “I think I would need the help of a lot of alcohol to answer a question the way that Kamala Harris answered questions,” he added.

Vance said Biden didn’t empower Harris in her role. “There wasn’t a level of trust between Biden and Harris,” he speculated. “Luckily, I’m in a situation where [Trump] trusts me.” He emphasized that he feels more involved than past vice presidents.

Harris often dodged interviews during her 2024 campaign. Analysts believed she avoided them to prevent awkward moments. When she finally spoke to the media, her responses were long and unclear.

In 2022, Harris went viral for an odd speech about "the significance of the passage of time." Critics mocked her for rambling without making a point. Another moment that drew ridicule was her “coconut tree” comment about young people.

“I don’t know what’s wrong with you young people,” she said while laughing. “You think you just fell out of a coconut tree?” The remark left many confused.

Harris also made headlines for a simplistic take on the Russia-Ukraine war. “Ukraine is a country in Europe,” she explained on “The Morning Hustle.” She added, “Russia is a bigger country… Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine, so basically, that’s wrong.”

She continued to make baffling remarks during public appearances. At a March AI conference, she veered off-topic to discuss Doritos. “We did DoorDash ’cause I wanted Doritos,” she said. She admitted she prioritized nacho cheese chips over privacy concerns.

In a September interview, she was asked about making life more affordable. Instead, she launched into a story about her childhood. “I grew up a middle-class kid,” she said. “My mother raised my sister and me. She worked very hard.” She then shifted to talking about neighbors who took pride in their lawns.

Harris’ history of confusing statements continues to be a talking point. Vance’s remarks highlight a key difference in their approach. His comments suggest Trump has given him a stronger role than Biden gave Harris.
