The angry father of an 11-year-old boy has had it with officials at the school as they allowed the boy to run from campus during a "meltdown" and ended up handcuffed in the back of a police car.
Trevor Hibbert said his son Abraham ran away from Endeavor Middle School Monday after kicked a school employee while being restrained.
While panicking Abraham was able to run more than a mile away from his school. Finally he was found by officers from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
"What would have happened to my little boy if before the police got there, in a melt-down state, he'd step in the wrong place or walked into the street and been hit by a car?," Trevor said while being interviewed by ABC7.
Trevor captured video of his son in complete distress while handcuffed in the back of a patrol car.
"This is what happens to an 11 year old, special needs, severely autistic child when he has a meltdown and is able to walk off the Lancaster School District, Endeavor Middle School “secure” campus," Trevor said in a Facebook post and also said this is the third time in the last three weeks has son has been able to leave the school.
Trevor also disputed many of the statements made by the Lancaster School District in another Facebook post.

Abraham has been suspended from the school since Tuesday. In response Trevor has hired an attorney.
