When you are interviewing Joe Biden, you ask the questions he wants. During an interview with Fox News reporter Peter Doocy on Saturday, Biden snapped at him to "ask the right questions."
Biden was in Des Moines with many of the other 2020 Democratic nominee hopefuls for the steak fry. He told Doocy that he's not spoken to his son Hunter Biden about the work he did in Ukraine. From there it heated up.
Eight. That’s how many times Donald Trump asked a foreign leader to investigate me and my family.
Why? Because he knows I'll beat him like a drum. pic.twitter.com/Oc303alcBi

“Here is what I know,” an irritated Biden responded. “I know Trump deserves to be investigated. He is violating every basic norm of a president. You should be asking him the question: why is he on the phone with a foreign leader? Trying to intimidate a foreign leader. If that’s what happened … that appears what happened.”
Biden was talking about a whistleblower's claim that President Trump has put pressure on Ukrainian President Zelensky to launch an investigation into Hunter Biden. The most recent reports point out that the claim came from an anonymous source who has no direct knowledge of the phone call in question.

“You should be looking at Trump,” Biden continued while waving his finger at the reporters around him. “Trump’s doing this because he knows I’ll beat him like a drum. He’s using the abuse of power, and every element of the presidency to try to do something to smear me.”
“Everybody’s looked at this,” Biden concluded, before focusing back to Doocy, “Ask the right questions.”
