During the last moments of his Friday Fox News show, Tucker Carlson shared a story about a delivery driver who reportedly stopped a carjacking, and he had pizza together with him.
On Monday, it was announced by Fox News that they were terminating their relationship with Tucker Carlson. The network issued a statement saying, “FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.”
“Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday, April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.”
After the news of Carlson's departure from Fox News was released, a video clip from his Friday show went viral on Twitter. In the clip, Tyler Morrell, a pizza delivery driver from Pennsylvania, was featured for his heroism in helping the police catch a suspected carjacker by tripping him up while making a delivery in a neighborhood.
Carlson had previously interviewed Morrell in April about the incident, and Morrell made another appearance on the show on Friday, bringing pizza for him and Carlson to eat together on set.
“So I am, as you can tell, a pizza aficionado. I was a pizza delivery boy for two years,” Carlson said while diving into a sausage and pineapple pizza.
“Now, as a pizza professional, do you look down on this order?” Carlson asked Morrell.
“I do,” Morrell fired back. “I consider it criminal.”
Here were the final moments of @TuckerCarlson Tonight - #Tucker's final guest was the pizza deliveryman who tripped up a suspected car thief. The driver - Tyler Morrell - brought a bunch of pizzas, so the two sat and ate them while mocking the thief.
