Woman Gets Hate Message After Ordering Charlie Kirk Drink at Starbucks

An Ohio woman says her quick Starbucks run turned ugly when she spotted a hateful message on her cup.

Autumn Perkins of Middletown ordered Charlie Kirk’s go-to drink — a mint majesty with two honeys — from a Kroger-operated Starbucks on Sunday. When she picked it up, she was stunned to see the words “racist’s fav drink” scrawled on the cup.

“It’s time for people to stop this nonsense,” Perkins told Fox News.

She spoke with the manager, who confirmed the employee admitted to writing it. The worker was fired. “I would agree that people should be fired if they’re doing something like this,” Perkins said. “Actions have repercussions.”

Perkins added that Kirk stood for respect, even with those he disagreed with. “We can disagree on a lot of things, but we respect each other. We can’t communicate and grow if we’re disrespecting each other.”

Starbucks issued a statement calling the act “unacceptable” and reiterated its policies against negative messages. Kroger, which runs the licensed location, confirmed the firing. “This behavior does not reflect Kroger’s values,” a company rep said.

Perkins said the experience has changed where she’ll spend her money. “I don’t intend to spend another penny at Starbucks — and as far as I’m concerned, neither will my children or anybody else in my family who will listen to me.”
