“Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.”
With an average of over 3 million viewers each night, Tucker Carlson was the highest-rated prime-time host on Fox and the most-watched commentator on cable TV.
The recent news arrived only a few days after the media company disclosed its separation from host Dan Bongino.
Dan Bongino, who presented "Unfiltered with Dan Bongino" on Saturday nights and "Canceled in the USA" on Fox Nation, left the network because he was unable to reach an agreement to renew his contract.
During his podcast, Bongino mentioned that the resolution was a "tough" one, but it was due to the fact that they were unable to reach an agreement on an extension.
“It’s a sad day,” Bongino said. “The most important events in my life I learned about on Fox News.”
