During a fundraising event in New Hampshire on Friday night, protesters stormed the stage while Republican Governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, made jokes.
As security removed them, members of the Jewish activist group IfNotNow rushed onto the stage and chanted "Jews against DeSantis".
“You gotta have a little spice in the speech, right?” DeSantis joked. “I mean you gotta have a little fun,” he said while the crowd applauded.

According to its website, IfNotNow is a progressive Jewish organization that opposes Israel's purported "system of apartheid." The group, which was established in 2014, is recognized for organizing protests, as per Influence Watch.

According to the NH Journal, DeSantis' speech set a new record for the most successful fundraiser in the history of the New Hampshire GOP. The outlet quoted NH GOP Chairman Chris Ager, who said that the event raised more than $250,000 and had to stop ticket sales due to exceeding the planned capacity.
On the same day, former President Donald Trump released an ad targeting DeSantis, mocking him for supposedly eating pudding "with three fingers." DeSantis is anticipated to join the Republican presidential race and is expected to pose a significant challenge to Trump for the party's nomination.
