James Comer Reveals Which Fox News Host Made Him 'Quit' Going on the Network

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer mentioned during a Newsmax interview with Eric Bolling that he ceased appearances on "Fox & Friends" due to disagreements with host Steve Doocy.

While discussing impeachment, Bolling expressed concerns about conservative media, particularly citing Steve Doocy of Fox, for siding with the Bidens despite the lack of evidence. Bolling showcased a clip where Doocy stated that Republicans have struggled to establish clear connections in their arguments.

“They’ve connected the dots, the Department of Justice did on Hunter, but they have not shown where Joe Biden, you know, did anything illegally.”

“Well, I think we’ve done a pretty good job connecting the dots,” Comer said. “We’ve traced two checks from influence peddling schemes going directly into Joe Biden’s pocket.”

“He’s had that position from the very beginning. I’ve quit going on Fox & Friends because of Doocy, you know? I mean, he’s the one guy on Fox that’s been very critical of the investigation,” Comer revealed. “I have my theory why, and we’ll talk about that at a later point, but at the end of the day, he’s entitled to his opinion, but I don’t think the average viewer of Fox News agrees with Doocy one bit.”

House Republicans are set to conduct a vote on Wednesday to officially initiate an impeachment investigation into President Biden.

The GOP has detailed accusations of procedural irregularities by the Department of Justice in its investigation of Hunter Biden, alleging efforts to shield the president's son. A report released by the House Ways and Means, Oversight, and Judiciary Committees highlights claims that Biden-appointed U.S. Attorneys Matthew Graves and E. Martin Estrada did not collaborate with David Weiss in the investigation following revelations from IRS whistleblowers.
