Married NFL Announcer Starts 'Wheel of Fortune' By Shooting His Shot with Vanna White

A television personality from the NFL Network made an unexpected revelation at the beginning of his participation in the game show "Wheel of Fortune" on November 15, expressing an enthusiastic admiration for Vanna White, the show's renowned letter-revealer.

Typically, the game show's format involves the host, Pat Sajak, engaging briefly with each contestant to discuss their personal backgrounds. However, this television personality, known for co-hosting "Good Morning Football" on the NFL Network, diverted from this norm by focusing his attention on White rather than his own story, as reported by Mediaite.

He commenced his appearance by acknowledging his pleasure in meeting Pat, but emphasized his greater excitement about meeting Vanna White.

“Pat, I’m thrilled to meet you, but Vanna, let’s just put the cards on the table,” Brandt said.

“I say this respectfully: you’re a TV legend. My wife is here. You were my boyhood crush. I loved you for many years of my life. You were the puzzle I wanted to solve, and I’m so thrilled to be here,” he professed.

He continued, “Do you have any advice for me today, Vanna? Because I believe you control the board. I love you, Pat. To me, this is a Vanna show.”

It turns out the 66-year-old model and longtime Wheel co-host did have some advice for Kyle. She suggested Brandt “pretend like you’re in your own living room,” and focus on the game, but “not me.”

Sajak didn't pass on the opportunity to toy with Brandt a little.

“‘You were the puzzle I wanted to solve’?” Sajak asked. “This is your line, Kyle?”

Brant claimed that he did not come in with a prepackaged line and thought of it on the spot.

“It just came out,” he laughed. “I didn’t know that moment would happen. It just came out. Did I hit ‘bankrupt’ on that, Pat?”

I'm going to go out on a limb and say the "solve the puzzle" and "bankrupt" lines were both planned. Either way, kudos to Brandt for taking advantage of his opportunity, his wife be damned.
