An alleged McDonald’s employee shared a TikTok video shedding light on certain aspects the fast-food giant "won’t tell y'all", highlighting that some products come pre-packaged.
In the brief 16-second footage, the user @blexican_shay83 mentions that the folded eggs in certain breakfast sandwiches are "already made" and delivered in packages.
"Pancakes, look, they be made already, they just warm them up," she comments, showing a pancake package.
"Burrito mix, burrito mix, comes pre-packaged," she finishes.

Regarding their breakfast burrito, McDonald's describes it as, "Start your day off with a loaded Egg and Sausage Burrito from the McDonald's breakfast menu."
"McDonald's Breakfast Burrito is filled with fluffy scrambled egg, pork sausage, melted cheese, green chiles, and onion! Encased in a soft tortilla, it's the ideal on-the-go breakfast," the chain elaborates.
Reactions to the TikTok video varied among viewers.
"Times have changed since I was a McDonald’s employee… we used to prepare those eggs. Only other items like pancakes and burrito mix were pre-packaged," one commenter noted.
"Back in 2004 when I worked at McDonald's, everything was freshly made, not pre-packaged."
Yet some weren't taken aback.
"Come on, most fast foods operate like this... customers want their orders quickly. If everything was made from scratch, it would take ages," one observed.
"Wait, you mean to tell me fast food isn't whipped up by a gourmet chef using fresh ingredients?" another sarcastically commented.
