NASCAR Driver's Wife Celebrates Husband's Win With Epic Beer Chug

On Sunday night, during the NASCAR All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway, no one was enjoying Kyle Larson's dominance more than his wife, Katelyn, as there was no shortage of excitement in her presence.

Steering his No. 5 Chevrolet to Victory Lane, Larson left Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick trailing behind by a remarkable 4.5-second margin. Nonetheless, it was Katelyn who captured the spotlight once her husband crossed the finish line. While Larson celebrated his triumph with tire burnouts, she seized the moment by downing a refreshing Coors Light, adding an extra touch of excitement to the celebration.

Securing victory at the All-Star Race marked Kyle Larson's third triumph in this prestigious event.

According to Essentially Sports, Katelyn Larson's memorable beer-chugging celebration gained widespread attention and became a prominent subject of discussion in the documentary titled "DIRT: The Last Great American Sport." In the documentary, Katelyn shared insights about how this unique tradition of celebrating with beer emerged following her husband's victorious races.

"I told Kyle, when you win a NASCAR race, I’m gonna shotgun a beer. Kyle won at Dover in 2019," she says. "They caught me on the boomerang camera shotgunning the beer in the corner. So it kind of took off from there. It’s a fun, playful, you know … tradition."

During the show, Kyle Larson expressed that the fans hold great anticipation and excitement for Katelyn, considering her as the one they eagerly look forward to the most.

"The fans, I mean, they would cheer louder for her than me. Now every race that I go to, every dirt race especially, I have multiple fans coming with me like, ‘Where’s Katelyn? I’m gonna shotgun a beer with her later."
