Rapper Post Malone has been working hard to be healthier and has lost a lot of weight. He talked about it on a show called The Joe Rogan Experience. He said he lost 60 pounds, going from 240 to 185 pounds! Post Malone said that after concerts, he used to drink soda like Coke, but he realized it wasn't good for him.
"Soda is so bad. It’s so good, but so bad," said Post. "I had a great show, and you know what, I’m feeling a little bit naughty. I’m gonna have myself a Coke on ice."
There was a study that showed drinking less soda and more water can help people lose weight and be healthier.
Joe Rogan, the show's host, said he believes in not having too much of anything, even if it's yummy. He thinks it's okay to have soda once in a while but not all the time.
"The problem is when people do it all day everyday your body doesn’t know what to do with that sugar because it’s so unnatural… the key to those things is every now and then, you know?" said Rogan.
Joe Rogan also said that our bodies are not used to having so much sugar all at once. It's different from the sugar in fruit. When we drink sugary drinks, our bodies get confused and don't know what to do.
